TEEN WOLF : BAD ROMANCE

Never trust a pretty face, Teen Wolf fans — especially one you haven’t seen since middle school, then suddenly resurfaces and tries to break up your pack of supernatural besties. (That’s a relatable teen problem, right?)
Anyway, Theo’s plan to topple that house of hormonal cards known as “Sciles” finally came to fruition in Monday’s episode as the Dread Doctor groupie ratted Stiles out to Scott, making Donovan’s murder sound way more brutal — and far less defensive — than it really was. For good measure, Theo told Papa Stilinski that he killed Donovan in an attempt to rescue Stiles, thus earning the sheriff’s trust (and a weird locker-room hug.)
Cut to Scott and Stiles, screaming at each other in the rain about the proverbial line now drawn between them. “How do we fix this?” Stiles eventually asked, which felt was the perfect segue for a Notebook-style embrace, but no such luck. Instead, they just kind of awkwardly changed the subject, though I have no faith that their bromance is in any kind of fit shape at the moment.
Teen Wolf Recap
In fact, the newfound rift in Scott’s friendship with Stiles was also the final nail in the coffin of his confidence. He didn’t even feel safe biting a dying Hayden, an act that would surely save her life by turning her full-werewolf. (“Maybe she’ll heal,” Theo suggested, as if we can trust anything that he says ever again. You know what? I’m officially demoting him back to Mike Montgomery as of… right now.)

THE BEST LAYDEN PLANS | Speaking of Hayden, is anyone else getting major Twilight vibes from her scenes with Liam? No longer shall I refer to her as Baby Selena Gomez; she is, now and forever, Baby Bella Swan. And there’s an innocence about Hayden and Liam that I really dig, which is why I did not enjoy watching her get stabbed in the neck by that Dread Doctor. That said, the unfortunate event did trigger my first real theory of the season: Since I refuse to believe the show would kill off Hayden after spending all that time establishing her relationship with Liam, I’m guessing Theo will give her the bite, thus beginning his own pack. … Come to think of it, was that his plan all along? To use the Dread Doctors to make scientifically modified supernaturals for his new pack? Did I just (finally) figure out Teen Wolf?!
PROGRESS WITH PARRISH | Silly me, I actually started to get my hopes up, thinking we might finally discover Parrish’s supernatural origins this week. To the show’s credit, we came closer than ever before — we can hypothesize that he exists to cover up supernatural disasters from the outside world — as his and Lydia’s stroll through the forest proved most eye-opening. Plus, am I the only one who thinks that fight scene was kind of hot? Don’t get me wrong, the age difference is suspect, but I’m sure many of you still root for Aria and Ezra to get back together on Pretty Little Liars, so let’s not even go there.
Your thoughts on this week’s episode? Any new theories about Parrish’s species, Theo’s connection to the Dread Doctors or the future of Scott and Stiles’ friendship? Drop ’em all in a comment below.

Which charchter do you miss the most ?

Approaching season 5, I'm still bummed about the reduced role of Tyler Hoechlin and the departure of Orny Adams. It made me think of all of the characters who have come and gone. Sometimes I take characters for granted and don't realize how much they brought to a show until they are gone. A good example of this is Teen Wolf's Jackson. He annoyed me badly; he was such a jerk. But once Colton Haynes left the show, I really missed Jackson. (And there have been rumors that he's going to return but no official announcement yet).

I know I'm not the only person who misses certain characters from the show's past. If I could, I'm sure I'd bring some of these characters back.

Isaac Lahey portrayed by Daniel Sharman

I was wary when Isaac first joined the show but learning his sad story immediately made me root for him. Isaac was a wonderful mix of vulnerable boy-next door and complete bad ass. I was shocked by his departure and I still miss him.

Allison Argent portrayed by Crystal Reed

I had a love/hate relationship with Allison. I loved her relationship with Scott and she was a very skilled archer so it was believable that she could get the bad guys. But I hated how she was manipulated by Gerard and how she abandoned Scott. I know she had a lot going on, including her mother's death, but I had hoped her character would turn out differently. Still, I grew to love Allison again. I was completely shocked by her death.

Victoria Argent portrayed by Eaddy Mays

Allison's evil mother! I could not stand her because she was just that evil. But how can anyone not be impressed with Mays' acting skills? She could convey so much with just one look. She was the scariest, most intimidating character on Teen Wolf--and she was just a human.

Jackson Whittemore portrayed by Colton Haynes

Jackson was a smarmy, arrogant jerk but he had his good side. I think he and Lydia made a cute couple (although I think he was more in love with himself than with her). Plus he and Danny were best friends - I'd hoped their friendship would be explored a bit more. I can't help but feel bad for Jackson. Since he was adopted he felt somehow incomplete and sometimes he seemed so lost and vulnerable.

Danny Mahealani portrayed by Keahu Kahuanui

Danny is one of my favorite minor characters. His character had so much potential. Danny was a good ally to Scott and a few others. In addition to being Jackson's friend and Ethan's boyfriend, Danny was also on the lacrosse team. He just seemed like a laid back, reliable guy. I already liked him but when it was revealed that he knew about the existence of werewolves (and hadn't tried to hurt any of them) I liked him even more and became excited about Danny's future on the show.

Vernon Boyd portrayed by Sinqua Walls

Poor Boyd never really seemed to stand a chance on Teen Wolf. He seemed tough and loyal but had a sadness to him that was never fully explained. (In the "Motel California" episode we learn about his sister's death). Boyd seemed like such a loner but ended up being a great friend.

Erica Reyes portrayed by Gage Golightly

I know I'm one of the few who couldn't stand Erica. She drove me nuts and I thought she was annoying. I especially didn't like when she flounced through the school and everyone stared. I thought that was so cheesy. That being said, many people loved Erica and wanted her to stick around. I don't miss Erica but I do feel bad for how she died.

Ethan and Aiden portrayed by Charlie and Max Carver

I really loved to hate these twins. It creeped me out when they would morph into one huge, ugly werewolf monster. I could not stand these two when they first came to Beacon Hills but I grew to like them a little more. Aiden was a distraction for Lydia but Ethan and Danny were such a cute couple. I thought that these two would end up being a part of Scott's pack but they left the show.

I miss some of these characters more than others and I hope that a couple of them will return one day (soon)!! What do you guys think? Who do you really miss the most? My vote goes to Isaac or Allison.

If last week's two-part premiere of Teen Wolf left you on the edge of your seats, wait until you hear what else is in store for the rest of season 5. Head writer and show creator, Jeff Davis, gave us the dirt on what to expect this season and it's so freaking good, you'll be canceling all your Monday night plans for the rest of the summer.
1. Season 5 is going to be hard to watch. "[There'll be more horror. Terrible things will happen to the characters. One of the things we really wanted to do this season is test all the relationships, and test the characters — break some people up, get some people back together, but mostly breakups."
2. But it'll also be the most exciting season yet. "We want fans to feel big emotions this season. We really tried to go for big, epic, character moments and conflicts in the relationships. And, of course, we wanted to bring in new villains and new bad guys and do some terrifying stuff, so this is quite a bit a season of horror as well to make it scary."
3. Scott and Stiles' friendship will be tested. "One of the issues between Stiles and Scott this year — it's been in the trailers — is the line where Scott says, 'Why can't you trust anyone?' And Stiles says, 'Because you trust everyone.' The big thing we wanted to do was test Scott and Stiles' relationship. Something we wrote down early on was: 'failure of leadership.' Scott has been built up in the last few seasons as a really a good leader. He's been learning how to be a leader, learning how to be an alpha, and we said, well what if he fails? There's that great quote, of course, 'You learn more from your failures than your successes.' Scott has a lot of learning left to do."

4. Senioritis will be a major theme this season. And the other thing is, with Stiles, we wanted to really get into Stiles' head this season — about his fears of graduating and the very universal teenage fear of, am I going to lose all of my best friends after I graduate high school? Are we all going to go our separate ways? And it's kind of encapsulated in that one moment of dialogue in the first episode: "If I have already met the best people in my life, why am I not trying to stay with them?"
5. Cody Christian won't be the same cutie you know from PLL. "He's a total pro and he's a really good actor. So we've made sure to give him a lot of material this season.... He's really grown. I've watched some of his stuff from Pretty Little Liars where he is just a cute little boy, and he's really grown into a rather sexy man. So it's nice because he brings a little more sexy to our show — not that we needed anymore."
6. Stiles is not a fan of Cody's character. "He's a mysterious character. He's a lone wolf, desperately in need of a pack. They don't survive on their own, and that is very much the teenage experience. Any kind of teenager who comes into a new experience needs friends. So that is his story. He needs a group of friends around him to get his life together, but he is going to throw things out of balance a little. Stiles does not like him at first at all."
7. Some super scary new villains will be coming to Beacon Hills. "This is a season where science meets the supernatural. New villains come to Beacon Hills, and they start doing very very nefarious, terrible things and a lot of teenagers become victims. It's up to Scott and his friends to figure out what they're really after. These are things you haven't seen yet. These villains are scientists who worship the supernatural. We call them the "Dread Doctors." They have a little bit of influence from history — from World War II German experiments on people."
8. Lydia has a new love interest. "She and our young deputy are going to find themselves in numerous scenes together. And whether that's good for them or bad we'll have to wait and see."
9. There'll be another new romance to get excited about. "There's another relationship that we're quite excited about, which is Liam and Hayden. Dylan Sprayberry learned to be a werewolf in the last season, and now he's going to have to learn to be a romantic young man."
10. Hayden will be much more than just Liam's "love interest". "We hate saying 'love interest' because 'love interest' usually denotes a female character who's brought in simply to be the romantic interest for the main male character, like does Mary Jane Watson exist unless she's the romantic interest to Peter Parker's Spider-Man? And we always want to make sure that our female characters are fully breathing, dimensional characters who have a right to be in the story beyond being somebody's love interest. That's why Allison was also a Hunter, and not just the romantic interest of Scott."
11. Kira's storyline is going to get much more interesting. "[Kira's] the only character, it seems, who actually has two parents on the show and we like showing that relationship. Kira is going to face a lot of issues this season as well, because her power is growing and it's going to become a bit unwieldy for her, so we'll see how she handles that. But it's cool to have a phenomenal person like Arden Cho who can sort through a situation like this, which didn't happen in the original movie."
12. Lydia will kick some major ass. "We're also excited about Lydia, who gets to kick some ass this season too. We wanted to make sure that this season focused on Holland and Lydia as well. Our core cast now from the original first season is down to Tyler, Dylan, and Holland, and Holland is one of our best actors on the show. And one of the things we try to do at the beginning of every season in the writer's room is ask ourselves, 'What do we want to see?' And we all unanimously voted we wanted to see Lydia kick ass. So this is going to be a season of her discovering and taming her powers and learning to be a fighter. She has a situation that comes along in this season where she gets hurt and she decides, 'That's it. I've got to learn how to defend myself. I can't rely on the supernatural creatures around me. I need to be able to fight.'"
13. The summer finale will feature a major cliffhanger. "This season is going to be 20 episodes: 10 premiering this summer, the next 10 premiering sometime in the winter, and fans can expect a big cliffhanger in the middle. We actually really crafted these first 10 to be sort of our Empire Strikes Back, so they're going to see the characters in some desperate times by the end of these 10 episodes."
